Local sports organisations awarded £23,000 at cheque presentation

We're delighted to announce that £23,000 was distributed to local clubs and groups, thanks to the generous fundraising at the 27th annual Dundee Sports Dinner.

The dinner - sponsored by Thorntons Solicitors, Brewin Dolphin, DWK Office Solutions Ltd and Fresh-Jet Catering - recognises the achievements of local sports people and organisations. The event also generates funding for a wide range of trips, competitions, equipment and coaching for sports clubs and organisations across Tayside.

A diverse range of athletes representing clubs from Dundee & surrounding areas were presented with cheques at Dundee Airport over the weekend.
